The Education (Special Educational Needs) (Information) (England) Regulations 1999 and The SEN Code of Practice (2001) sets out the information which a school’s policy for special educational needs must contain. Our policy has been revised in the light of the changes within The SEN Code of Practice (2001). This policy details the provision for Young People with special educational needs that our school provides that is ‘additional to’ or ‘different from’ the provision made for all Young People in state education.
Our central aim is to reduce the barriers to effective learning for Young People with special educational needs.
