We are not going to pretend that fostering is easy. It is not a career for the faint-hearted. You need to have “stickability”, courage, understanding, stamina, warmth, patience, forgiveness, resilience, open-mindedness and a sense of humour for starters!
You need to genuinely like children and be prepared to invest time, energy and commitment in order to help them to achieve their full potential.
